Aim High will be at The 2nd New Los Angeles Folk Festival.
Sorry for the late notice, tickets still on sale and festival photos coming soon.
If it's everything it claims to be we'll be sure to let you know before the 3rd one comes up.
Located on Zorthian Ranch, at the foot of the San Gabriel Mountains.
This junkyard oasis seems like the type of place you stumble into lost in the desert, but the Ranch leads a peaceful weird existence just 15 miles from downtown Los Angeles on a mountainside surrounded by trees. It's close by but very far out, some might say.

Guests will follow a map across 45 acres of junkyard treasures to experience live music by almost thirty bands, including Amanda Jo Williams, Ana Caravelle, The Djin Aquarian Band (of Ya Ho Wa 33), Dustbowl Revival, Emily Lacy, Ferraby Lionheart, Frank Fairfield, Ghiant, Jenny Luna And The Moondoggies, Julia Holter, Matt Taylor & His Laurels (featuring Olentangy John), Nasambu & the Mystic Nomads, Radical Face, Ramona Gonzalez (AKA Nite Jewel), Ruthann Friedman, RT n the 44s, Space Comes Soft, Spindrift, The Stevenson Ranch Davidians, Stone Darling, Tommy Santee Klaws, Triple Chicken Foot (doing a square dance), Very Be Careful, Yellow Red Sparks

Spend the day with llamas and turkeys, visit art installations embedded in Zorthian’s junk & old car sculpture garden, splash in the pool overlooking miles of trees, then picnic beside a giant blue head before hitting up a square dance in the horse ring. Echo Country Outpost is contributing a 50 foot waterslide. There will be complimentary O.N.E. coconut water for all guests.
Zorthian Ranch
Zorthian Ranch is a 45-acre mountainside retreat built by Jirayr Zorthian in 1945. It has horses, llamas, chickens, dogs, goats, and an overgrown yard. Up until Zorthian’s death in 2004, the ranch served as a haven of bohemian life and a backdrop for his artistic expression—salvaged wood, bed springs, rusted vehicles, broken concrete, movie set pieces, beer bottles, old props, more than one kitchen sink, and other junk he could recycle into various sculptures and architecture.
